HYDRO FLASK LET'S GO! PROMISE: 5-YEAR WARRANTY

Hydro Flask Unbound Series Soft Cooler Pack, Unbound Series Cooler Tote, Day Escape Cooler Tote, Day Escape Cooler Pack, Tag Along Bottle Slings, Packable Bottle Slings, Lunch Totes, Insulated Totes, and Lunch Boxes carry a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturer's defects. Hydro Flask will replace/credit any eligible product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use. Replacement parts will be utilised to address the defects when available. A receipt/proof of purchase must be obtained to verify the date of purchase.

Hydro Flask Hydration, Kids, Tumbler, Coffee, Beer, Wine & Spirits, Food, Large Capacity Hard Goods, and Hard Good Accessory Products carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects for the life of the product. Hydro Flask will replace any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use. Replacement parts will be utilized to address defects when available.

Before submitting a customer’s warranty claim, please read the following:

  • Flasks that seem to have lost their insulating properties:Ask customer for faulty flask to be left with retail store to carry out test. You can test the insulation of the flask with boiling water. Pour from a kettle or pot directly into the stationary flask, filling it all the way to the neck. Exercise caution pouring boiling water into the flask to avoid burns. Do not hold the flask while filling with boiling water. Also, do not place the cap over the flask. After about 5 minutes, feel the outside of the flask (below the neck). If you feel any hot spots, the insulation has been compromised and you are eligible for a replacement.
  • Take note of the state of the bottle; if the tempshield has resulted from external factors ie. a dent, Hydro Flask, would not cover the failure of a TempShield due to wear and tear that has caused the defect.

For the warranty claim please provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos or video validating the fault.
  • If it is a flask, please include a photo underneath the flask (this is required for manufacturing detail).
  • Style Code

Let the customer know that the flask is faulty and eligible for replacement. Dispose of faulty Hydro Flask appropriately.

  • Broken or leaking caps:If the customers cap/lid is broken or a leak is apparent, carry out a quick test to see where leak is coming from.

 Flex Straw Lid:

  1. Are all seals intact - the O-ring in the circumference of the inside of the lid. And the Red seal that sits inside the lid. Are they firmly in place?
  2. Is the straw free from any holes?
  3. After sipping from the straw, do you allow the straw to drain before closing it.
  4. Is the straw cut on a 45 degree angle and 1.5-2 cm from the bottom of the bottle? if it is cut straight across it can create a vacuum (this is the likely cause of the leak).
Flex Sip Lid:
  1. Confirm all pieces of the lid are present (3 hard goods and 1 red seal)
  2. Ensure the red seal and o-ring seal is in place correctly (writing side up)
  3. Ensure that when the lid is closed, you can see the red seal
  • Rattling flasks:The rattle you hear is a small metal disc that sits between the double wall of your flask and aids in the vacuum insulation process. Sometimes the disc becomes dislodged, creating a small noise or rattle. This will not affect the insulation or structural integrity of your flask. If it is an annoyance to the customer, please replace and contact Compendium Group - A replacement flask can be provided to the customer and a credit can be applied to your account for the replacement. If you do not have stock on hand, we can send out a replacement to store for customer collection.
  • Flasks that are damaged during the shipping process: Please contact us if a shipment of Hydro Flask’s have arrived damaged. Once detail has been received and images supplied - we will book a collection of the damaged flask(s) and will send out replacement flask(s) upon receipt and apply any required credit note(s) to the store *Please take photos of the courier cartons as well as any other damaged packaging. This helps in our investigation when discussing with the warehouse/couriers. 

The limited warranty provided by Hydro Flask® only covers manufacturing defects and does not include any damage or defect of any Hydro Flask® products caused by, whether directly or indirectly, any of the following:

  1. improper use or misuse of the product;
  2. damage or defect caused by cleaning, disassembly, alterations, or modifications;
  3. damage or defect caused by or resulting from wear and tear, abuse, fire, or Acts of God; or
  4. colour finish

Please note your Warranty Claim Hydro Flask® will be replaced by the same size and colour Hydro Flask. If the size and colour are no longer available, it will be replaced by one of similar size and colour and will not be of lesser MSRP value. Unfortunately, replacement flasks under warranty cannot be customized. If you have a flask with a custom logo, we are not able to screen print or engrave the artwork on your return flask. Those that have purchased customised flasks will not get a customised flask sent to them under our warranty replacement policy.

In no event shall Hydro Flask® be liable or responsible for any damage, loss, cost, or expense, including incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.

Retail Store Warranty Process: Utilise points below

  • Ensure customer has Proof of Purchase of Hydro Flask to specific retail store/franchise
  • Run through above possible Warranty Claims to check what fault the customers Hydro Flask has.
  • Complete tests, if necessary, in store. Ensure the fault has not occurred due to wear and tear.
  • If the claim is eligible under the warranty, please report the warranty claim to Compendium Group using our warranty claim form below.
  • Compendium Group can assist with technical issues/claims. If uncertain of claim, please submit the form with as much information as possible and we will follow-up.
  • Return of all faulty flasks and hardgoods are to be returned to Compendium Group for proper disposal.
